  17. WinTools.net is a suite of tools for increasing operating system 
  18. performance. WinTools.net cleanly removes unwanted software from 
  19. disk drives and dead references from the Windows registry. 
  20. WinTools.net puts you in control of the Windows start up  process, 
  21. memory monitoring and gives you the power to customize desktop 
  22. and system settings to fit your needs.

  38. Wintools features the following tools:
  39.  
  40. Clean Uninstaller - This tool is used for both correctly removing 
  41. software and for monitoring changes made to the hard drive, 
  42. MS Windows registry and system files during program installations.
  43.  
  44.  When you uninstall different software, temporary files and files 
  45. not deleted in the process of uninstallation often remain on the 
  46. hard disk. These files are no longer used, they take up disk space 
  47. and increase disk access times. With the help of the tool "Clean 
  48. Uninstaller" you can solve that problem. You can also control the 
  49. installation process of program, monitor installed files and changes 
  50. made to the Windows registry system files during installation.

  53. Scan Files - This tool is used for periodic cleaning of your hard 
  54. drive from dead references, junk and obsolete files produced by 
  55. different software. These files and references remain on the hard 
  56. disk and increase drive access time.

  58.  When different programs are running, temporary files necessary for 
  59. the proper functioning those programs are created on hard disk. 
  60. Quite often these temporary files are not deleted. The temporary 
  61. files remain on hard disk, occupy the space and sometimes slowing 
  62. the work of your computer. The tool "Scan Files" is used for periodic 
  63. cleaning of the computer from temporary and unused files.

  66. Scan Registry - This tool is used for periodic cleaning of the 
  67. MS Windows registry from unused applications remained after 
  68. uninstallation and from invalid references which decrease system 
  69. speed and system loading time.

  71.  Many programs store information about themselves in the Windows 
  72. registry; these programs add new file extension associations and 
  73. install components of their own. Far too often, the unistallation 
  74. methods used by these programs fail to remove their information from 
  75. the registry adding unnecessary bloat. After several series of 
  76. installation/uninstallation, the Windows registry becomes bigger 
  77. and bigger; computer power declines and program access times increase. 
  78. The "Scan Registry" tool serves for periodic cleaning of the registry 
  79. and for correcting incorrect registry records.

  82. Start Up - This is a startup manager. This tool allows you to monitor, 
  83. add, remove, enable and/or disable individual startup items. You can 
  84. also adjust applications  initialized during the loading process of 
  85. the operating system.

  87.  Many programs "consider" themselves the most important programs in 
  88. a system: they place themselves in startup and in a System Tray of 
  89. a system. This leads to unreasonable using of system resources, of 
  90. random access memory; and finally, to reducing processor power. As 
  91. a rule, such programs write information about themselves not in the 
  92. Start section of the "Startup" menu, but in the Windows registry without 
  93. leaving the option to the user and complicating the process of checking 
  94. the autothread process. The "Start Up" tool monitors all records about 
  95. autothread and allows to delete/add and temporarily disable records.

  98. Tweak UI - This is a set of additional adjustments related to safety, 
  99. system capacity and user preferences and which are not included into 
  100. basic components of MS Windows.

  105. registration information. 
  106. Desktop û a set of adjustments that can be made to the desktop. 
  107. System û system settings, ways of the loading of a system and devices.

  109. Security û an adjustment of security of a system.
